Where to begin? I think that if I had to describe this trip and this adventure in one word, it would be “unforgettable”. It was my first time outside Europe and I don’t regret at all choosing Mexico as my destination. An immense country with a culture and history very rich, a famous and delicious cuisine, without forgetting the welcoming people and the magnificent landscapes. All this is Mexico.
And where does Vivir Bonito fit in all this? I don’t have enough words to describe this so authentic and human experience. I found out about the program on Facebook, with a post from Zoé. After asking for some info and having a video call with Zoé, Berni and Rodo, I was sure to go to Mexico thanks to their good humor and communication skills.
Some months later, I was taking the plane to Mexico for two weeks, specifically to Morelia. After those weeks (that passed by really fast) I learned a new language, I discovered a culture and amazing landscapes, I ate delicious food, I partied a la mexicaine, I met Rodo, Berni and Pau, who are now my real friends. Whether it is the patience, knowledge or kindness of Rodo, the cooking, good mood and fun of Berni, or even the advice, generosity and sweetness of Pau; these three guys will make your stay unforgettable! You’re not just a tourist when you go to Vivir Bonito, your part of their family, a close friend. They will share with you their universe, as if they’ve known you since forever.
What did I like the most? The visits to little towns such as Capula, the Spanish lessons adapted to each one’s level, the custom-made activities, the balance between activities and freetime, as well as the disponibility of the three hosts. I could continue but I will let the rest be a surprise for your future visit!
