40 year, carpenter, France (july 2023)

I arrived in Morelia on Saturday night. I was welcomed by Rodolfo, the professor; Berni, the cook; and Ben, another Vivir Bonito student. Once we arrived at the hostel, they showed me my bedroom, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the living room and the classroom.

During the 4 weeks I stayed over there, I discovered Morelia and its monuments, such as the cathedral and the other churches. Rodo and Berni taught me about Mexico, Michoacán and Morelia cultures. I also tried their food such as tacos, quesadillas and other specialities.I, who already ate spicy food back in France, enjoyed tasting their specialities and salsas. On weekdays, from 9 to 11 am, I tooked Spanish lessons. And I almost forgot to mention Pau, the real boss of Vivir Bonito.

What I liked the most were the weekends, when we took little trips. I enjoyed walking to the Ichaqueo waterfall and camping on the springwater lagoon as well.

Thanks everybody for the beautiful moments I had with you guys!
