My stay at the hostel was absolutely awesome because Rodo, Berni and Pau are amazing people with good hearts, they are very polite, generous and they are really into their job. I am so happy that I was able to live this incredible experience with them.
It is clear that these guys are very proud of Mexico, of Michoacán, and obviously of Morelia. In fact, they don’t doubt to share all they know (history, cuisine, guided visits). Thanks to them, I learned how to explore and love this gorgeous city, where it is nice to take a walk and stop to contemplate the typical and sublime architectural elements, and its pre hispanic and hispanic elements as well.
This city is full of life, it has a lot of stores and boutiques that are filled with colorful handcrafts. Morelians are really kind and smiley. That is why this city is a must when travelling around Mexico.
About the visits we did, I really loved them. We went to cultural places (such as museums, villages) and natural places as well (such as mountains, waterfalls, forests and lakes).
It is also important to talk about food. I really was excited when I tried all the specialties, whether they were cooked by Berni and Rodo or we tried them at restaurants (such as mole, tamales, molletes, soup).
The hostel itself is a really welcoming place, well decorated with plants, colors and good taste. The rooftop allows you to admirate the whole city, day and night, with its unique 360° view. At the hostel I felt like at home, one can feel the kindness.
I think the program is well balanced. It is possible to take class with Rodo in the mornings (the best of teachers) and have some free time in the afternoons to explore the city in a safe way. If you don’t speak Spanish, no problem, these guys speak really good English and French. I also enjoyed getting to know the other guests, they shared with me a bit of its cultures (Australians, Canadians).
I have no doubt I will treasure these memories in my mind and in my heart forever, they became very good friends with whom I had lots of fun.
